Oct 17, 2013 (newstodate): Wizz Air Ukraine has now opened its second operational base in the country, at Donetsk.
Starting from October 1, 2013, Wizz Air has based one Airbus A320 to operate on four new routes from Donetsk to Milan Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino, London Luton, and Munich Memmingen, as well as operate existing services to Kutaisi and Dortmund.
The Airbus based at Donetsk is Wizz Air Ukraine's fourth aircraft.
Wizz Air Ukraine was the country's first low-cost carrier, starting operations from July 18, 2008 with Airbus A320 aircraft.
WIZZ Air Ukraine now plans for increasing its traffic four-fold over the next three years, and will add a further five Airbus A320 aircraft during the period.
