Oct 10, 2013 (newstodate): While dormant since at least this summer, WFS may not be entirely counted out in the airport handling business at Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
As reported by newstodate in yesterday's edition, WFS set up at the airport on June 1, 2012, by taking over the lease agreement with Swedavia of 3,000 sq m terminal formerly operated by A.S.P Logistic terminal from October 2009.
Little has, however, been heard from WFS at Arlanda since then. But the company is still reviewing the issue and denies that a decision to close down has been made.
-It is only partially correct. We are actually revising the way in which to continue our setup at Arlanda. The signboard of WFS will stay on the wall for quite some time, but it is correct that we have not been very successful until now, says Marc Claesen, WFS Regional Vice President.
