Oct 30, 2013 (newstodate): Development of Belarus aviation has attracted the attention of a major Turkish player.
The AIC Group is in talks with the Belarus aviation authority on participation in setting up a new airline, development of the country's Minsk Airport as well as regional airports.
Negotiations between the parties have now led to the establishing of three working groups focusing respectively on a new Belarus airline, development including construction of a new passenger terminal at Minsk Airport, and development of the regional airports at Grodno and Brest that will also include a new cargo terminal at Brest.
Further down the road, tenders will be opened for these projects allowing for cooperation with other investors in cooperation with AIC Group.
