Oct 28, 2013 (newstodate): Russia's top-5 cargo carriers continued to grow their common share in the country's air cargo industry during January-September 2013 by 5.9 percent, y-o-y.
During this period, the five carriers accounted for 76.5 percent of all cargo transported by Russian airlines, compared to 73.4 percent in 2012.
Together, they lifted 558,458 tonnes of cargo in these nine months, compared to 527,527 tonnes in 2012.
The top-5 carriers are AirBridgeCargo with 310,948 tonnes, up 17.5 percent, y-o-y, followed by Aeroflot, 132,215 tonnes and down 6.8 percent, Transaero with 47,655 tonnes and up 2.6 percent, Volga-Dnepr with 41,632 tonnes and down 12.9 percent, and finally S7 Sibir with 26,008 tonnes and down 2.8 percent, y-o-y.
