Oct 02, 2013 (newstodate): Swissport and Ukraine International Airlines will meet again today in Ukraine's Superior Economic Court of Ukraine to hear the supposedly final verdict on the issue of UIA's take-over of the aborted airport handling JV.
Ahead of the hearing, UIA is firing a last broadside against its opponent, accusing it of exerting pressure on Ukrainian governmental and judicial authorities via the EU.
Thus, Swissport Int'l has sent a letter to the EU Commission's chairman stating its position and disseminating myths about "disposal of major investment", "investor's share dilution", "putting the safe and reliable operation of flights between the EU and Ukraine in question", according to UIA that sees the move as "lobbying the interests of the private company by engaging the government, the press, the public, and the EU management to in order to obtain illegal judgment in the company's favor."
