Oct 10, 2013 (newstodate): In August 2013, DHL Global Forwarding remained on top of the list among Sweden's IATA freight forwarders.
The company generated 1,982 tonnes of Swedish export air cargo, corresponding to a share at 25.4 percent in a market that was over-all down by 5.9 percent to 7,806 tonnes.
#2 was Geodis Wilson with 1,366 tonnes, 17.5 percent of the market, followed by Kuehne&Nagel with 747 tonnes, 9.6 percent of the market.
Both DHL Global Forwarding and Geodis Wilson were, however, down by 12.6 and 25.9 percent, respectively, compared to same month in 2012, while Kuehne&Nagel increased volumes by 11.3 percent, y-o-y.
#4 was Panalpina with 583 tonnes, down 26.1 percent, followed by Schenker, down 10.3 percent, y-o-y, to 438 tonnes.
