Oct 31, 2013 (newstodate): Serbia is developing its relations to Abu Dhabi following on Etihad's investments and involvement in Air Serbia.
A high-level Serb government delegation is currently in Abu Dhabi to negotiate a new cooperation with Abu Dhabi's Mubadala company, a governmental institution to spur the country's industrial development and diversification.
The parties are talking about setting up a joint venture in Serbia to manufacture aircraft parts and components at Zemun, close to Belgrade and the airport.
The talks are reportedly expected to result in an agreement before the end of this year, and the planned facility will then aim at landing both Airbus and Boeing among its future customers.
