Oct 31, 2013 (newstodate): Serbia's Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport will benefit greatly from the transformation of the national carrier from JAT to Air Serbia.
During the current winter schedule, the rejuvenated carrier will have more than 200 departures per week, an increase by 38 percent, y-o-y.
In addition to the new Abu Dhabi service code-shared with Etihad Airways, Air Serbia will launch flights to Banja Luka and Prague from December 1, 2013, followed by flights on the new routes to Ljubljana and Bucharest as of December 10.
Among foreign airlines Swiss will inaugurate two weekly flights to Geneva starting from December 19, Belavia and Pegasus Airlines will continue their Belgrade service during this winter season, Alitalia will increase the number of weekly flights from Rome, easyJet will operate twice weekly between Belgrade and Milan from January 24, 2013, TAROM will launch flights from Bucharest, and Turkish Airlines from Istanbul.
