Oct 29, 2013 (newstodate): The Georgian carrier Fly Georgia went out of business from October 17, 2013 - but is reportedly planning for a come-back.
The carrier will reportedly return services from Georgia again within three months aiming at offering scheduled services on a yet-unannounced network, according to industry sources.
In the air from August 2012 with its first Airbus A320, the carrier added its second Airbus on November 20, 2012, and plans were to reach a fleet of five Airbus A320 Family aircraft in 2013.
Financial problems brought the carrier down, however, and the leasing company arrested the aircraft at airports outside Georgia.
As a temporary measure, Air Georgia then leased a Boeing 737-300 aircraft, but it remains unclear at the moment if this aircraft is still at Air Georgia's disposal and what its future fleet plans may be.
