Oct 07, 2013 (newstodate): During this weekend, the Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time has taken delivery of its first pure freighter.
The Boeing 737-400F will enter commercial service by mid-October 2013, with a yet-undisclosed customer, most probably one of the integrators.
Offering up to 11 pallet positions, the aircraft will be acquired on a lease contract with Kahala Aviation after conversion to freighter service by Commercial Jet, Alabama.
In the fleet of Jet Time are already two Boeing 737-300QC aircraft primarily operating in the passenger configuration during peak charter seasons while being marketed in the ad-hoc cargo market during slack seasons.
