Oct 09, 2013 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is opening flights on a new route between Riga and Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with Etihad.
Flights will commence from December 16, 2013, pending approvals by the authorities.
airBaltic will be operating the flights four times weekly with an Airbus A319 aircraft on an ACMI contract with the Czech carrier CSA.
The flight schedules will be coordinated to connect to onward flights by the two carriers at each end of the line.
