Jan 02, 2013 (newstodate): While most Nordic IATA export airfreight markets stabilized somewhat in November 2012, Sweden continued its year-long downward trend in volumes.
The country's IATA export thus dropped 6.7 percent, y-o-y, to 8,484 tonnes.
Among Sweden's IATA cargo forwarders, DHL ranked #1 in November 2012, with 2,278 tonnes holding 26.8 percent of the market but down 13.2 percent, y-o-y.
#2 was Geodis Wilson with 1,922 tonnes but down 4.1 percent, while #3, Kuehne & Nagel grew by 89.7 percent to 1,113 tonnes.
Panalpina was #4 with 409 tonnes, down 33.2 percent, followed by Schenker, also down 33.9 percent to 398 tonnes.
Growing the most was #6, Agility with 257 tonnes and up 54.3 percent, while Greencarrier, #9 in November, managed to climb back onto the Top-10 list with a growth by 32.4 percent to 167 tonnes.
