Jan 16, 2013 (newstodate): New airline in 2013 at Iceland's Keflavik Airport will be the Russian carrier Transaero.
Starting from this summer schedule, Transaero will offer two weekly rotations on the route between the Russian and the Icelandic capital, thus providing the first non-stop direct air link between these points, with access to the airline's extensive domestic and international route network.
Also from this summer, Icelandair will launch direct flights to its first destination in Russia, St Petersburg, to be served also twice weekly.
