Jan 04, 2013 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines is reportedly to launch new routes from Istanbul to the Baltic region.
The airline plans to open long-awaited flights from Istanbul to Tallinn, in Estonia, from June 18, 2013, offering three weekly rotations for a start.
Sources also claim that Turkish Airlines will launch flights from Istanbul to Vilnius, in Lithuania, from the same date.
None of the route opening have, however, been officially confirmed by the carrier.
Turkish Airlines is already present in the region with flights between Istanbul and Riga, in Latvia, operating since April 19, 2006.
