Jan 28, 2013 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Atran Cargo Airlines has added more capacity to its freighter fleet.
Earlier this month the carrier took delivery of its second Boeing 737-400S freighter after conversion by AEI.
The first Boeing freighter was received in summer 2012, operating alongside Atran's four AN-12 freighter aircraft.
In October 2011, Russia's Volga-Dnepr Group acquired Atran to provide the company with capability to feed and distribute airfreight on the domestic network connected to the larger freighter hubs.
