Jan 29, 2013 (newstodate): Fledgling Tajik carrier Asian Express Airline is building up its aircraft fleet.
Four Avro RJ100 aircraft are in the process of being delivered to the privately-owned carrier, based at Dushanbe Airport and poised to further increase the competition in the Tajik market.
The carrier is also took delivery of its first Airbus A320 aircraft in November 2012 to enter the domestic market in Tajikistan.
The carrier was set up in 2007 as the Asian Express Aviacompany, while being renamed Asian Express Airline in 2011, when all shares were taken by LLC Kont Bank Investment.
