Jan 14, 2013 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana is planning for an expansion of its services between Kazakhstan and Germany.
Effective from April 2013, the carrier will increase capacity on four weekly rotations between Astana and Frankfurt by replacing the Boeing 757-200 currently used on the route with the larger Boeing 767-300.
The carrier will also introduce flights on a new seasonal route between Hanover and Kostanay, in Kazakhstan, during the summer period 2013.
Air Astana is code-sharing with Lufthansa on the flights to Germany.
