Jan 07, 2013 (newstodate): Iraqi Airways is building up a new aircraft fleet to serve the increasing needs for air transport venues with the world.
The latest new delivery was one Boeing 777-200LR in mid-December 2012, bringing the fleet to a total of 17 passenger aircraft and one Airbus A300-600F freighter.
In the fleet now are two Airbus A320 Family aircraft and one Airbus A330-200.
The carrier also operates four Boeing 737 aircraft, two Boeing 767-300ER, and six Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft.
Besides, Iraqi Airways operates one Airbus A300 and one Boeing 747-400 dedicated for state use.
On the order book are deliveries of two Airbus A320 Family aircraft, 30 Boeing 737-800, and 10 Boeing 787 aircraft.
