Jan 17, 2013 (newstodate): Till now focusing on Europe, Ryanair has decided to set up its first bases outside the EU region.
The low-cost carrier will set up new operational bases in Tunisia, with one aircraft to be based at Fez Saiss Airport and two aircraft at Marrakesh Menara Airport.
The carrier will operate flights on a total of 11 new routes from these two Tunisian basis, focusing on destinations in France and Germany.
