Jan 08, 2013 (newstodate): After having put its three Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft up for sale since August 2012, Estonian Air now seems to have changed its mind on the future aircraft fleet.
So far, all flights by Estonian Air during the coming Summer 2013 schedule will be performed with the Bombardier aircraft only as the carrier hands back the four Embraer 170 aircraft, delivered to Estonian Air in February 2012 under a lease agreement till 2015 with Finnair.
Also the carrier's three SAAB 340 aircraft operated by Estonian Air Regional seems to be phased out as the carrier slims its route network, work force and aircraft fleet.
So far, the airline's summer schedule will comprise flights from Tallinn to 12 destinations against 21 destinations in summer 2012.
