Sep 24, 2012 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Atran Cargo Airlines, now part of the Volga-Dnepr Group, has taken delivery of one Boeing 737-400F freighter.
The aircraft intended for short and medium range routes entered commercial service on the route between Moscow and Cologne from August 10, 2012.
A second Boeing 737-400F will follow suit before the end of the year.
Atran Cargo Airlines was acquired by Russia's Volga-Dnepr Group as the first steps towards adding express airfreight deliveries to its product portfolio.
