Sep 26, 2012 (newstodate): Since December 2011, the Turkish cargo carrier MNG Airlines has operated a non-scheduled freighter service between Turkey and Finland.
The freighter service connects Istanbul Atat�rk Airport and Helsinki Vantaa Airport on an ad-hoc basis, with up to two weekly rotations using Airbus A330-200F or alternatively Boeing 737-400F aircraft on the route.
MNG Airlines took delivery of its first of four Airbus A330-200F freighters on August 30, 2012, earlier adding its first of two Boeing 737-400 converted freighters on April 19, 2012.
In the fleet are also seven Airbus A300B4-200F and two Airbus A300-600RF freighter aircraft.
The carrier currently operates scheduled freighter flights on routes from Istanbul to Leipzig, Cologne/Bonn, Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Luton Airport.
