Sep 27, 2012 (newstodate): Swedavia has now provided details on airfreight developments at Sweden's three largest cargo airports in 2012.
Covering the period January-August 2012, statistics show that Stockholm Arlanda Airport saw its cargo volumes down by 19.8 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 83,105 tonnes, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport handled a total of 39,481 tonnes, down 24.3 percent, while volumes through Malmo Sturup Airport decreased by eight percent to 14,359 tonnes.
Together, the three airports handling a total of 136,945 tonnes in January-August 2012 were down 20.1 percent, y-o-y, in volumes.
