Sep 13, 2012 (newstodate): The sale of Slovenia's Adria Airways did attract attention in the aviation world.
After the expiry of the deadline to file non-binding bids for the carrier, a total of 10 parties emerged in the process, sources say.
No names of participants in this first round of the tender process have been released, however, and the consulting company managing the process on behalf of the Slovenian state has also not revealed when a potential sales contract may be signed.
Based at Ljubljana Airport, the Star Alliance member carrier operates a fleet of 13 aircraft including three Airbus A320 Family aircraft, four Bombardier CRJ900 and six CRJ200 aircraft.
