Sep 28, 2012 (newstodate): SAS is still considering the option of selling all or parts of its handling business, SGH, and indications are that a decision may be reached before the end of October 2012.
Media reports have again brought the issue our from the effective news curfew otherwise imposed by SAS on talks with "several parties" over sale of SGH activities in Scandinavia.
The SAS Group's VP investor relations has now confirmed to a Danish paper that talks are indeed going on without however revealing either the scope or timelines for these negotiations.
It remains also unclear if divestment of both passenger and cargo handling activities are on the agenda.
