Sep 24, 2012 (newstodate): SAS Cargo retained its leading position in the Swedish IATA export airfreight market, but growth was only seen in the Danish market in August 2012.
In Sweden, SAS Cargo's volumes were 1,023 tonnes, but while Sweden remained the carrier's single largest Nordic market, it was still down 16.7 percent, y-o-y, and lost in its market share at 13.6 percent.
Denmark was the positive exception in August 2012 as SAS Cargo's volumes were up by 18.8 percent, to a total of 957 tonnes.
In Norway, SAS Cargo's volumes were also down by 7.1 percent, y-o-y, to 579 tonnes, while volumes in Finland dropped even steeper by 23.4 percent, to 102 tonnes.
