Sep 21, 2012 (newstodate): The Finnish company Copterline is to return services on its route between Helsinki and Tallinn from October 2012.
The AugustaWestland AW139 helicopter has been on ground for a prolonged three-month period due to maintenance works.
-Among the maintenance works was a time-requiring four-year inspection that was planned, but the lead time at AgustaWestland's service center was indeed longer than expected, says Kari Ljungberg, Copterline CEO.
Copterline launched operations on September 14, 2011, with five rotations on the route on weekdays, and the company will now offer 10 daily services from Monday to Thursday, and 12-14 daily flights on Fridays.
