The existing bi-lateral air services agreement between Russia and Dubai sets the limit for ex-Dubai flights to four destinations in Russia.
flydubai has seen strong growth and demand in the market for air services between Russia and Dubai and would reportedly be ready to open up flights to many new Russian destinations.
Negotiations are now underway for a revision of the existing agreement.
In October 2010, flydubai started flights to Yekaterinburg and Samara adding Ufa and Kazan from September 2011, thus exhausting the potentials in the current agreement.
