Sep 13, 2012 (newstodate): The first Superjet 100 for its Mexican customer is now assembled and work will proceed towards its delivery by early 2013.
The process is also prolonged due to the requirement for a supplementary type certificate prior to its delivery to the Mexican carrier Interjet.
The carrier signed a contract with Superjet in January 2011 for delivery of 15 aircraft, and in 2012 Interjet converted five of its options into a firm order for another batch of five aircraft.
The first delivery was earlier expected by the end of this year.
