Sep 27, 2012 (newstodate): New in Scandinavia is the Sharjah-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia poised to launch flights between Maroc and Denmark.
Effective from November 4, 2012, Air Arabia's Moroccan JV, Air Arabia Morocco will offer non-stop flights between Marrakesh, Morocco, and Billund in Denmark, with a weekly rotation using Airbus A320 aircraft.
The JV between Air Arabia and Moroccan investors was established in 2009, and the JV currently operates four Airbus A320 aircraft based at Casablanca.
In contrast to most other low-cost carriers, Air Arabia is also active in the airfreight market, carrying freight, mail and courier traffic across the company network now comprising close to 70 destinations.
