Aug 30, 2012 (newstodate): After opening its 13th base at Belgrade, Serbia, the Hungarian LCC WIZZ Air is again increasing its activities there.
From this autumn, Wizz Air will base one more Airbus A320 aircraft at Belgrade, enabling it to open flights to four new destinations.
Starting from December 15, 2012, Wizz Air will offer three weekly flights to Basel, and from May 31, 2013, two weekly flights to Oslo Torp, in Norway, will be added.
Later, during the summer, Wizz Air will also add flights to Rhodes and Crete.
Wizz Air is already operating flights from Belgrade to Scandinavian destinations Gothenburg, Malmo and Stockholm, and with the new route from 2013 Wizz Air will offer flights to nine destinations from Oslo Torp.
