Aug 29, 2012 (newstodate): The latest IATA CASS statistics on Sweden covering July 2012 shows that only two airfreight forwarders on the Top-10 list managed to emerge with positive growth in tonnages.
The two exceptions were #6, Agility and #8, Greencarrier with volumes up by 25.5 and 61.3, respectively.
Retaining the #1 position was DHL Global Forwarding that however dropped moderately by 4.2 percent, y-o-y, while the remaining forwarders on the list saw volumes down by two digits, spanning from 10.2 percent in the case of #9, Scanam Global Logistics, to no less than 91 percent in the case of #7, Air Logistics.
The Top-2 companies on the list, DHL Global Forwarding and Geodis Wilson, still held 32 and 23 percent, respectively, of Sweden's IATA export airfreight market in July 2012, well ahead of the remaining forwarders with Kuehne & Nagel as #3 with 7.6 percent of the market, and down 21.1 percent, y-o-y.
