In 2011, Russia's cargo volumes exceeded 653,000 tonnes, 25.2 percent over volumes in 2010.
In May 2012, cargo volumes at Moscow's airports increased by 10.7 percent, y-o-y, while growth in the global cargo traffic was around 0.4 percent and generally negative during the year.
And in January-May 2012, Russia's cargo volumes exceeded 267,400 tonnes, up 13.2 percent, y-o-y.
In the future, the intensive growth in Russia's cargo volumes will consolidate and land at over 6.9 percent annually.
All figures provided by the press department at Moscow Domodedovo Airport that handled a total of 89,277 tonnes of cargo during January-June 2012, an increase by 3.4 percent, y-o-y.
And Moscow Domodedovo Airport currently estimates that 2012 will end with volumes at the airport up 4.7 percent over 2012.
