Aug 08, 2012 (newstodate): With the opening of handling services at Stuttgart Airport, Havas Europe has completed its German drive.
Within a span of only four months, starting from March 2012, Havas Europe has launched handling services at Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Stuttgart, in all cases driven by contracts with Air France/KLM.
The business in Germany has opened rather modestly with only ticketing services for Air France/KLM, but plans are to expand into more handling areas, ending up with a full handling package.
-With the setup of Havas network in Germany complete, the ground handling company is looking forward to further dynamic growth in all markets, Havas Europe says in a press release.
No indications are offered, however, about where the spotlight will next be lit.
With the acquisition by the Turkish partner, the handling company with Latvian roots left its Nordic/Baltic strategies unfinished after opening handling companies at Riga Airport, in Latvia, and at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden.
On the former agenda were openings at the airports of Tallinn, Vilnius, Oslo, Gothenburg and Copenhagen.
