Aug 07, 2012 (newstodate): Qatar Airways is to increase frequency on its route between Doha and Norway.
The route was launched on October 5, 2011, with five weekly rotations between Doha and Oslo as Qatar Airways put Norway on its list of destinations as the last of three Scandinavian markets after flights to Stockholm Arlanda from November 27, 2007, and to Copenhagen, in Denmark, from March 30, 2010.
The carrier now says the frequency on the route to Oslo Gardermoen Airport will go up to daily flights from January 1, 2013, operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Qatar has also said flights to Helsinki Finland is on the table, but no launch dates has yet been announced.
