Aug 28, 2012 (newstodate): Only in 2011, the Swedish forwarding and logistics provider Greencarrier proclaimed its ambition of obtaining a position among the top-10 forwarders within the coming few years.
-For 2012, our target was to become No 7 or 8 after having been positioned around No 13-15 during the preceding years, says Jorgen Ekwall, Greencarrier airfreight manager.
-This target was realized in July 2012 when Greencarrier climbed to a position as No 8 on the IATA CASS list of freight forwarders in Sweden.
-And moreover, Greencarrier was also one of only two forwarding companies on the list to end up with a positive growth over July 2011. Our total cargo volume sold in July 2012 was thus 156 tonnes after a growth by 61.3 percent, y-o-y, in the generally declining market, says Mr Ekwall.
