Aug 31, 2012 (newstodate): Ethiopian Airlines has announced adjustments to its plans for the service in the Swedish market.
Since August 20, 2012, the carrier has added a stop at Cairo to its hitherto twice-weekly non-stop service between Stockholm and Addis Abeba.
This temporary one-stop service will now be extended till November 30, 2012.
The carrier is also to replace the Boeing 757-200 aircraft used on the route with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft during the period September 11 to November 30, 2012 when the non-stop service will also be returned.
Ethiopian Airways has been operating the route Addis Abeba-Stockholm since October 28, 2003, after moving its Scandinavian services from Copenhagen Airport, Denmark.
