Aug 30, 2012 (newstodate): Prague, in the Czech Republic, will get its first direct, non-stop connection to Miami from this autumn.
The privately-owned carrier Travel Service Airlines will start operations on the route between Prague and Miami International Airport from November 14, 2012, offering two weekly rotations with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The new service is greatly boosted by the Czech Republic's recent admission to the US Visa Waiver Program, allowing travelers to stay in the USA for up to 90 days without a visa.
Travel Service Airlines operates a fleet comprising three Boeing 737-700 and 22 Boeing 737-800.
