Aug 22, 2012 (newstodate): Good news for British Airways World Cargo customers in Denmark: the carrier is to introduce wide-body capacity on one of its six daily flights between Copenhagen and London.
According to industry sources, the company will operate a Boeing 767-300 aircraft on one daily rotation between the two points on five weekdays plus Sunday, adding some 10 tonnes of extra cargo capacity on a daily basis.
The change will take effect from October 28, 2012.
Since November 2010, BAWC also operates a weekly Airbus A300F freighter on Saturdays between the two airports.
The freighter service as well as the coming Boeing wide-body passenger aircraft will feed containerized cargo into the entire IAG network including Iberia with its network spanning destinations in South America.
Serving as the company's cargo GSA in Denmark and Finland since March 2009 is Cargo Care International.
