Aug 20, 2012 (newstodate): Georgia's Tbilisi Airport is seeing new traffic coming in from this autumn.
Effective from September 27, 2012, the Kazakh carrier Air Astana will commence flights between Astana and Tbilisi, offering four weekly rotations with Embraer 190 aircraft.
The carrier already operates four weekly rotations on the route between Almaty, in Kazakhstan, and Tbilisi.
And from October 2012, British Airways will also put Tbilisi on their route map with daily flight services.
Also a newcomer is Fly Georgia that plans to launch flights from Tbilisi to destinations including Berlin, Minsk, Dubai, London, Rome, and Vilnius, besides the domestic route between Tbilisi and Batumi.
