Aug 06, 2012 (newstodate): According to Russian media, the Armenian launch customer for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 is not too happy with its choice.
Armavia was the first carrier to put the Superjet 100 aircraft in commercial service from April 2011 and was slated to take delivery of a second aircraft by the end of June 2012 after a series of postponements.
Armavia will not, however, accept the second aircraft already painted in its livery, and will reportedly also like to phase out the single Superjet 100 in its service, sources claim.
So far, however, no announcements have been made on these issues, and in the meantime Aeroflot has taken delivery of its ninth production aircraft due to enter service these days.
Report are that Aeroflot that has ordered a total of 30 aircraft has again experienced problems with its Superjet 100 fleet, with one aircraft losing cabin pressure during the weekend.
