Jul 24, 2012 (newstodate): New customer for Airbus aircraft, the Russian carrier UTAir has placed orders for delivery of 20 Airbus A321 aircraft.
UTAir, with HQs at based in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia, currently operates a fleet comprising 105 aircraft, with orders for another 75, including Boeing, Bombardier and now also Airbus aircraft as well as Sukhoi Superjet.
Besides, UTAir is also the world's largest operator of rotary wing aircraft, with more than 340 domestic and foreign made helicopters in operation.
