Jul 27, 2012 (newstodate): A polish carrier will reportedly step in to secure air traffic at the small Swedish airport at Kristianstad.
Skytaxi, a charter airline based in Wroclaw, Poland, will launch flights from August 2012 between Kristianstad and Stockholm Arlanda Airport with a schedule to be announced soon.
The solution is only temporary, as a new Swedish carrier is in the process of being established for the purpose but has still not received its AOC.
The flight connection was left idle after the demise of Skyways that earlier served the route.
Skytaxi operates two SAAB 340 aircraft on passenger and cargo flights around Europe.
