Jul 27, 2012 (newstodate): Estonian Air is to suspend services on its route between Tallinn and London from October 15, 2012.
Flight services will then be resumed from spring 2013, while no exact date has yet been announced.
According to the carrier, the decision is due to the ongoing restructuring of the aircraft fleet, with the entry of new Embraer 190 aircraft to replace the Boeing 737-500 aircraft currently operated on the longer routes.
The carrier has placed orders for delivery of five E-190 aircraft as well as three E-175, while four E-170 aircraft leased from Finnair will serve with Estonian Air till some time into 2013.
In the fleet are still three Bombardier CRJ900 that will be phased out as replaced by the E-175 aircraft.
