Jul 24, 2012 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ground handling provider Baltic Ground Services has landed a fresh contract in the Polish market.
Expanding the portfolio of services at Warsaw International Frederic Chopin Airport, Poland, Baltic Ground Services has now added catering delivery services to passengers and aircraft crew, with Small Planet Airlines as its launch customer since July 6, 2012.
-We are currently in talks with other airports in Poland and are planning to introduce food delivery services at more locations across the country, says Saulius Batavicius, BGS CEO.
Baltic Ground Services is fully licensed to provide passenger and aircraft handling and into-plane fueling services at Vilnius and Palanga as well as six Polish airports Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Katowice.
The first Polish station to be opened by Baltic Ground Services in March 2011 was Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport.
