Jun 22, 2012 (newstodate): The Swedish carrier Fly Logic, based at Malmo Sturup Airport, is in sales talks.
-We are deep into negotiations with a potential new owner, a Norwegian company, but I am currently not able to announce the name of the new owner, nor the final details, says Willy Liljeheden, Fly Logic owner and CEO.
-By the start of this year we decided to put our three Pa-31 passenger aircraft up for sale, but as they have still not found new owners we are operating them in passenger transportation. We are finding it increasingly difficult to obtain piston engine fuel at airports, and the market for passenger transport with aircraft this size is also becoming very difficult, says Mr Liljeheden who will retire from active service after concluding the sale of the carrier.
The carrier also operates one Metroliner in cargo version, serving Amapola with night flight operations for Post Sweden, as well as operating on a contract with TNT in addition to jobs on the ad-hoc cargo market.
