Jun 21, 2012 (newstodate): The Slovakian carrier and ACMI provider AirExplore sees the world as its market place.
Based at Bratislava, Air Explore received its AOC on May 31, 2010, launched flights with its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-300, in June 2010, adding a second aircraft, a Boeing 737-400, in June 2011, and a second Boeing 737-400 in spring 2012.
The Boeing 737-300 is now registered in Cambodia on a contract with Tonl Sap Airlines while the two Boeing 737-400 are engaged in charter operations in Europe.
But ambitions go beyond that.
-We are now working on a couple of projects including additional Boeing 737-400 and Boeing 757-200, but not all aircraft will be in our AOC, says Martin Stulajter, Air Explore CEO and co-owner.
-We are providing support for start up AOCs in Asia and established AOCs with lack of infrastructure to bring aircraft to regions less hit by the recession.
-Besides, we may soon bring one more Boeing 737-400 to our fleet to support our European program, says Mr Stulajter.
