Jun 21, 2012 (newstodate): After repeated efforts to secure its survival, the Czech carrier Central Connect Airlines has now suspended all flights.
-Given that the statistics did not confirm the long term ticket sales, profitability was not achieved. Therefore, the management has decided to temporarily suspend operations on all existing scheduled CCA flights in order to optimise the restructuring plan, the carrier says in a statement on its website.
With a fleet of three SAAB 340 aircraft, the airline served routes from Prague to Berlin, Stuttgart, Hanover, Ljubljana, Krakow and Zagreb in cooperation with CSA Czech Airlines.
The carrier performed its first flight on November 4, 2005.
