Jun 07, 2012 (newstodate): Cargo at Serbia's Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport dropped by five percent in May 2012.
A total of 612 tonnes of cargo was handled in May 2012, in addition to 81 tonnes of mail that however grew by 13 percent, y-o-y.
For January-May 2012 the status is a total of 2,759 tonnes of cargo, down four percent, and 412 tonnes of mail, unchanged against the same period in 2011.
The airport's development on the passenger side has been more positive, with a growth by 12 percent, y-o-y, to 1.2 mio passengers during the first five month of this year.
