Jun 27, 2012 (newstodate): The Russian carrier VIM Avia has again been cleared for flights into EU airports.
An inspection at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport of an aircraft from VIM Avia revealed several safety-related problems causing the Russian authority Rosaviatsia to suspend the carrier's flights into the EU in November 2011.
Through this proactive action VIM Avia avoided being included on the EU flight ban list, and the carrier is now back into EU since June 26, 2012.
The carrier operates a fleet of 11 Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
